Senior Social Worker
Rebecca Brigham is an independently licensed clinical social worker (LICSW) and Senior Staff Social Worker at The Center for Effective Therapy. She more than a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, and their families in outpatient, community based, residential, and primary care pediatric settings. She has provided individual therapy, family therapy, short term assessment, and crisis intervention, as well as supervision, training, and program development. Rebecca has a particular clinical interest in working with children and youth who have experienced trauma and helping them build resilience and reduce the impact of trauma in their lives and has been trained in multiple evidence-based treatments for trauma, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and Trauma Systems Therapy (TST). She also has extensive experience working with children and adolescents who struggle with anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. Rebecca is committed to developing collaborative goals for treatment with children and their families, building youth sense of self-efficacy and hope for the future, and engaging children through their individual unique interests. She also enjoys working closely with families, caregivers, and schools to best support children across all of their environments.
