Staff Mental Health Counselor
Olivia Naya is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and Staff Mental Health Counselor at The Center for Effective Therapy. Olivia graduated with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Dance/Movement Therapy from Lesley University in 2022. She has worked in a variety of mental health settings and levels of care, such as inpatient psychiatry, residential eating disorder treatment, and therapeutic day treatment programs. She has provided individual therapy, group therapy, and grief counseling in community-based settings and hospitals. Olivia has experience working with youth experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral challenges. Olivia has training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and is working towards her certification in Modular Approach to Therapy for Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, or Conduct Problems (MATCH-ADTC). Olivia is passionate about working with youth and families to help highlight strengths, achieve treatment goals, and learn effective coping skills.
