Emily Clapper, MSW
Social Work Fellow
Emily Clapper (she/her/hers) is a Social Work Fellow at the Baker Center for Children and Families. She graduated from Syracuse University with a B.S. in Social Work, a B.A. in Psychology, and a minor in Child and Family Policy Studies. Following her undergraduate education, Emily attended the Boston College School of Social Work where she earned a Masters in Social Work with a concentration in clinical practice with children, youth, and families, along with a Trauma Certificate.
Emily has valuable clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and families across a variety of settings including residential treatment programs, community-based acute treatment programs, group homes, and therapeutic school environments. Emily is currently working towards her certification in the Modular Approach to Treatment for Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, or Conduct Problems (MATCH-ADTC). Emily is dedicated to fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for children and families. By tailoring her approach to each child’s unique needs and interests, Emily strives to create a space where families feel validated, valued, and empowered to build the tools and confidence needed to thrive both in and out of treatment.
