Emily Clapper (she/her/hers) is a Social Work Fellow at the Baker Center for Children and Families. She graduated from Syracuse University with a B.S. in Social Work, a B.A. in Psychology, and a minor in Child and Family Policy Studies. Following her undergraduate education, Emily attended the Boston College School of Social Work where she earned a Masters in Social Work with a concentration in clinical practice with children, youth, and families, along with a Trauma Certificate.
Emily has valuable clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and families across a variety of settings including residential treatment programs, community-based acute treatment programs, group homes, and therapeutic school environments. Emily is certified in the Modular Approach to Treatment for Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, or Conduct Problems (MATCH-ADTC). Emily is dedicated to fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for children and families. By tailoring her approach to each child’s unique needs and interests, Emily strives to create a space where families feel validated, valued, and empowered to build the tools and confidence needed to thrive both in and out of treatment.
