The Baker Center, a national leader in children’s mental health, recently named John Kershaw, MeD, as Senior Director of the Manville School. As Senior Director, John oversees Manville’s day-to-day operations and leads the school’s management team. John’s role will allow him to shape the vision and future of Manville alongside The Baker Center’s Senior Leadership team and ensure all students receive the highest quality care.

Judge Baker Children’s Center d/b/a The Baker Center for Children and Families (“The Baker Center”) experienced a data security incident that may have affect certain personal and/or protected health information. The Baker Center is sending notification of this incident via U.S. Mail to potentially impacted individuals with verifiable address information and is providing resources to assist.

The Baker Center, a national leader in children’s mental health, has received a 5-year grant from The National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health (a subset of the Department of Health & Human Services) to pursue research into community-driven drug prevention implementation strategies for Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander youth in rural Hawai'i. The project is led by Dr. Kelsie Okamura, the head of The Baker Center’s Implementation Research team based in Hawai'i.
