Research
His research focuses on developing and validating advanced neuroimaging tools and measures to understand better human brain anatomy, and biological underpinnings of brain pathology in various neuropsychiatric disorders. He uses translational approach (tissue, animals and humans) and multiple research modalities (imaging, histology, behavior, proteomics), to study multiple brain disorders, including psychosis, pathological aging and depression. His most recent projects include studying involvement of acute neuroinflammatory processes in the onset of psychosis onset, development of high-resolution human brain atlases to guide neuroimaging analysis, and studying animal model of aging to estimate involvement of neuroinflammation and epigenetics in aging related cognitive impairment.
